Druehl, Keegans Earn All-NEWISA Honors

STORRS, Conn. – Seniors Heidi Druehl and Liane Keegans earned second team All-New England status, as announced by NEWISA on Thursday.
Keegans started all 18 matches for the Huskies in 2018 wrapping up her career starting all 83 games..Helped the Huskies defense secure 24 shutouts in her career. The senior finished her UConn career playing an impressive 7,545 minutes out of a possible 7,595 minutes. In 2016, Keegans was one of four UConn student-athletes to be recognized as an NSCA All-American.
Druehl started all 18 matches for the Huskies and finished her UConn career with 77 games played. The Stamford, Conn. native played 1598 minutes and helped the Huskies earn a pair of shutouts in 2018. The defender chipped in one assist on the season and helped Keegans lead a young group.
