UConn Will Square-Off Against BC on Tuesday, October 16
STORRS, Conn. - Tonight's home men's soccer match against Boston College has been postponed due to poor field conditions caused by Tropical Depression Florence. The contest has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 16 at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
As a result of tonight's postponement, UConn's contest against Sacred Heart, which was originally scheduled for October 16, will be played on Tuesday, October 9 at 7 p.m. in Storrs.
Over the weekend, the Huskies won a 3-2 double overtime thriller against Loyola Maryland, as senior Abdou Mbacke Thiam recorded his first hat-trick of the 2018 season, netting the golden goal in the 106th minute. With the win, UConn improved to 4-2 on the year, and the team sports an unblemished 4-0 mark at home.
