UConn Men's Basketball To Hold Walk-On Tryouts

STORRS, Conn. – Think you have what it takes to be part of the UConn men's basketball program? Want the chance to find out?
The UConn men's basketball team will be holding walk-on tryouts for the 2018-19 season on Friday, Sept. 28, starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Werth Family UConn Basketball Champions Center. Candidates should dress in appropriate basketball attire and be prepared to stay for approximately a two-hour session.
Those candidates who are asked to return will have the chance to practice regularly with the men's basketball team and become an important part of a Division I program that has captured four NCAA Championships. Candidates should be aware that the Huskies' regular in-season practices typically are held daily in the early afternoon.
Candidates must download and complete the attached medical and compliance forms and return them by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, to Eric Schneider, Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance at eric.schneider@uconn.edu or to the Compliance Office located in Gampel Pavilion.
