Football Announces Nine Opponents for 2020 Schedule

Final Three Games Will Be Announced Shortly
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn football team has secured nine games on its 2020 schedule, which will mark the Huskies' first season as an FBS independent since its previous stint from 2000-03. Dates with seven of the nine opponents have been finalized. The last three opponents, along with all of the remaining dates, are expected to be finalized and announced shortly.
"I would like to thank the many Universities that collaborated with us as we continue to work through the complicated process of constructing our schedule for the 2020 season," director of athletics David Benedict said. "I feel that the schedule will be one that our football program and our fans can be excited about and I look forward to finalizing the 2020 schedule shortly."
The nine finalized contests include four games on the road and five contests at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Conn. All finalized dates and opponents are listed below.

Dates for the games against Maine and Virginia will be determined as soon as the 10th, 11th and 12th opponents on the schedule are finalized.
Game times and television information will be announced in the coming months.
