Yili Zheng Receives Husky High Five for September

STORRS, Conn. - UConn men's tennis junior Yili Zheng (Shanghai, China) has been recognized as a Student Athlete Success Program (SASP) Husky High Five recipient for the month of September.Â
The Husky High Fives recognizes UConn student-athletes that demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, growth and improvement in their commitment to succeeding in the classroom, their sport, and/or in the area of service and leadership. This award recognizes and honors students who have achieved success in these areas through hard work and dedication. When selecting the Husky High Five winners, they are selected on the criteria of demonstrating significant achievement in their coursework despite various challenges and showing growth in the areas of academics, personal development, leadership and service.
Zheng is in his third season playing near the top of the Huskies' lineup this fall. A marketing major, Zheng is a two-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete, earning the honor for achieving a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the academic year. Â
