Wade Named to American Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Honor Roll

STORRS, Conn. – Following an impressive performance in Tuesday night's season finale, freshman Moussa Wade earned a nod to the final AAC Men's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll, as announced by the conference this afternoon.
Wade secured a brace en route to the Huskies 6-3 win over Tulsa. The freshman tallied the first goal of his career after receiving a touch pass from Jake Dengler and drilling a shot from 22-yards out. Wade struck again 10 minutes into the second frame, tapping home the rebound after the initial attempt was blocked.
UConn secured the sixth and final spot in the 2019 AAC Men's Soccer Championships with their 6-3 win over Tulsa. The Huskies will travel to Tampa this weekend for a Saturday night quarterfinal bout against USF. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
