PROVIDENCE, R.I.- UConn senior offensive lineman Matt Peart earned First Team All-Conference recognition as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
The Kingston, Jamaica native anchored the Huskies offensive line for four seasons, starting all 48 games.Â
A team captain in 2019 and member of the leadership council in 2018, he helped produce back-to-back 1000-yard rushing seasons for Kevin Mensah. It is only the second time in program history that the Huskies have had the same running back put together back-to-back 1000 yard campaigns (Jordan Todman).
The 6-7, 303 pound lineman is projected to be one of the top tackle prospects in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft and he will participate in the prestigious Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama on January, 25, 2020.
