UConn Divers Set to Compete at Zone A Championships

STORRS, Conn. – Four UConn women's divers will compete this week in the NCAA A Zone Championships at Lejune Hall in Annapolis, Md. on Monday, March 11 through Wednesday, March 13.
Senior captain Monica Marcello, sophomore Erin Clifford, sophomore Elizabeth Drab and junior Kamrin Dawkins will compete for the Huskies.
All four divers have had strong seasons under 21st year head coach John Bransfield, who was named American Athletic Conference Women's Diving Coach of the Year last week.
Marcello is coming off a great American Athletic Conference Championship, in which, she set a meet record in the 3M dive to take gold and earned a silver medal in the 1M dive. This all coming after an injury kept her out during the 2017-18 season.
The Huskies have experience in the Zone A Championships with both Marcello and Clifford competing in previous years.
