Huskies Set for BIG EAST Championships

2026 BIG EAST Swim & Dive Championships Begin Wednesday
OCALA, Florida – The 2026 BIG EAST Swim and Dive Championships presented by JEEP will begin on Wednesday, February 18, and continue through Saturday, February 21, at Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training (FAST) in Ocala, Florida, in partnership with the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau.
The Villanova women look to claim their 13th consecutive crown while the Georgetown men seek their fifth straight Championship title. The Wildcats' 12 consecutive Championship wins rank second in the BIG EAST, behind Notre Dame who won 14 consecutive titles from 1997-2010. They boast the second longest active win streak in NCAA Division I behind Navy (Patriot League) and Texas (Big 12, SEC) who have each won 13 consecutive conference titles.
The Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training (FAST) facility is the premier swimming, training, and competition venue in the Southeastern United States. Located in Ocala, the heart of Central Florida, FAST features an indoor 10-lane 50m/25yd competition pool and a 8-lane 50m/25yd/25m outdoor competition pool. Our training facility also features a 2,475 sq. ft. dryland fitness center providing an excellent opportunity to train out of the pool as well.
FAST is equipped with the top-tier equipment to train, host, and engage in aquatic activities at the local, state, regional, and national levels. With seating for up to 2,000 spectators, everyone can enjoy the action while cheering on the competition.
Tickets can be purchased HERE. Adult (age 18-64), senior (65+), and youth (age 3-17) single and all-session tickets are available for purchase. All youth tickets must be purchased with an accompanying adult ticket.
The championships will kick off Wednesday with the prelims of the women's 3-meter diving competition at 1 p.m., followed by the finals of the 800-freestyle relay (women's, men's), women's 3-meter dive, and 200-medley relay (women's, men's) at 5:45 p.m.
For the remainder of the competition, prelims will begin at 10 a.m. followed by finals at 5:45 p.m. Live results will be available for all sessions. They can be accessed HERE. Swimming and diving prelim sessions will stream on YouTube here. ESPN+ will carry Wednesday's, Thursday's and Friday's 5:45 p.m. finals sessions as well as Saturday's action beginning with the 3:15 p.m. afternoon heats of the 1,650 freestyle.
