UConn efficiently round out 2019 Pepsi Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla.—The UConn women's track and field team wrapped up the third and final day of the 2019 Pepsi Florida Relays with several top-5 finishes.
Junior Chanell Botsis competed in a talented field of student-athletes and took home fifth place in the Hammer Throw. Her finish came via a 60.94m (199-11) effort.
The Huskies put in a pair of relay teams for the Distance Medley and they did not disappoint. The 'A' crossed the finish line with a time of 11:51.49, taking second. The 'B' team followed closely behind with a fifth place finish at 12:13.62.
UConn is back in action on Saturday, Apr. 13th at their one-day and solo home meet, the UConn Northeast Challenge. Stay tuned for updates and more information coming soon.
