UConn concludes historic Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa--The UConn women's track and field wrapped up the final two days of the 125th Penn Relays on Friday, April 26th and Saturday, April 27th. The Huskies competed in the 100 Meter Dash and Triple Jump (College).
DAY TWO
Jiana Baker was the representative for UConn in the 100 meter dash, finishing with a top-20 mark in the race. She finished 17th overall with a time of 12.03. Gabriella Gavalas' effort in the college-triple jump, landed her at 25th overall at 11.06m (36-3.5).
UP NEXT
UConn will travel to Providence, R.I. to compete at the Brown Invite on Sunday, April 28th. The single day meet will in the field with the women's javelin throw and the men's 3,000 meter steeplechase at 11:30a.m.
