Summer countdown to the fall semester with Briana Marcelino

STORRS, Conn. - Bringing the countdown to size is rising junior Briana Marcelino at eight days until the fall semester begins on Monday, August 26th.

"I played with the Stratford Brakettes this summer, which is an iconic softball program in Connecticut and known throughout the country. The program dates back to 1947. This was my second season playing with the Brakettes and the second time that we have played against the New Britain Bees, an American professional baseball team. This season was also our ninth time winning the women's national softball championship. It has been such an amazing experience being able to play for such a recognizable program in softball's history and opportunity to wear the Brakettes uniform."
