Summer countdown to the fall semester with Ashlee Dahman

STORRS, Conn.—Rising senior Ashlee Dahman kicks off softball's summer countdown until the fall semester begins on Monday, August 26th.
With fall ball on the horizon the Huskies have to hit the books and head to class as the summer nights fade to give way to early morning workouts prior to class.
Each student-athlete has an amazing story to tell from their summer, below is Ashlee's. Today marks 21 days until the start of the 2019 academic calendar.

The photo below is of the swearing in ceremony to become a solider in the United States Army. I will be using my bachelor's degrees in psychology and criminal behavior, and language in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Field, upon graduation. I will be a Signals Intelligence Analyst upon completion of the required training and coursework. This opportunity will lead to advancement in my career aspirations, I will have the opportunity to continue to serve i the Army or obtain a position with the FBI, NASA, or Homeland Security.
