Summer countdown to the fall semester with Reese Guevarra

STORRS, Conn.—The summer countdown continues as the fall semester quickly approaches for the Huskies. Rising junior Reese Guevarra shares her top summer moment below, with 19 days left to go before Monday, August 26th.

I represented the Philippine National Team this summer during the International Cup in Columbus, Georgia. We played against USA, Japan, Peru, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. It is an honor to represent my home country, and I am always filled with pride wearing that jersey. It was an amazing experience not just because of the caliber of softball being played but because of the people I get to meet and the culture I'm surrounded by.
Guevarra has been afforded this tremendous opportunity for the third year in a row.
