Bueckers Named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's basketball guard Paige Bueckers was tabbed the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week Monday.
In her collegiate debut, Bueckers led the Huskies with 17 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five steals in a 79-23 win over UMass Lowell. She shot 73 percent (8-for-11) from the field.
The third-ranked Huskies return to action Tuesday at Seton Hall. The game will air on SNY at 6:30 p.m.
