STORRS, Conn. – Jasmine Lister, who joined the UConn women's basketball staff as an assistant coach following the 2017-18 season, has resigned and will not return for a third year on head coach Geno Auriemma's staff.
"I'm happy to share that Jasmine is doing well and appreciates the kindness of UConn Nation during her time away from our program," Auriemma said. "She has indicated that she will not return as an assistant coach and will instead pursue other professional opportunities. Jasmine is a great person and I'm sure the next chapter of her life will bring continued success. I wish her all my best."
Lister decided to take a leave of absence from the team on January 31, 2020.
"I am grateful for my time spent with the UConn women's basketball program," Lister said. "I have learned a lot from Coach Auriemma the coaching staff, and the student-athletes. They have been supportive of me during my time away. Thank you to the entire UConn family and I look forward to the future."
