UConn to Face Texas in Preseason Exhibition

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's basketball team will host fellow 2026 Final Four participant Texas in a preseason exhibition on Monday, Oct. 19, in Connecticut.

UConn is 10-1 all-time vs. Texas. The teams last faced off on Dec. 3, 2023, in Austin, Texas, an 80-68 win for the Longhorns.

Texas finished the 2025-26 season ranked No. 4 in the final AP Poll. The Longhorns win the 2026 SEC Tournament championship and appeared in their second consecutive NCAA Final Four last season.

Venue, tip time and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
