Villanova At UConn MBB Rescheduled To Jan. 28

NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference has announced that the Villanova-at-UConn men's basketball game will be played on Thursday, Jan. 28, with a 9 p.m. tipoff, televised on FS1.

The game was originally set for Jan.15, but was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Villanova program.

The rescheduling means the Huskies will compete in three games within a six-day span – Tuesday (Jan. 26), against Butler at home; Thursday (Jan. 28) against Villanova at home; and Sunday (Jan. 31) at St. John's.

UConn has had eight games on its schedule either canceled or postponed due to the pandemic. Only one of its postponed games, the Jan. 20 game against Xavier at home, remains to be rescheduled.
