Huskies Announce Spring Schedule

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn women's tennis team announced their 2021 spring schedule with the Huskies set to host 11 matches as they make their return to the Big East.
The Huskies will open the year on February 20 with a trip up to Army West Point. They will host the Black Knights on March 5 in their first of five matches to be played at their indoor home the Magic Lincer Tennis Academy in Manchester, Conn. UConn will also play host to Sacred Heart (Mar. 10), Siena (Mar. 13), Quinnipiac (Mar. 17) and Boston University (Mar. 20) on the indoor courts.
UConn has six matches on the slate for their outdoor courts on campus starting with a March 31 match-up against Fairfield. The Huskies will be back competing in the Big East this season and have matches scheduled against conference members St. John's, on the road (Mar. 28) and at home in Storrs against Seton Hall (Apr. 2), Villanova (Apr. 10) and Providence (Apr. 14).
The Huskies will also host UMass (Apr. 7) and Rhode Island (Apr. 16) and face Drexel, at Army West Point (Feb. 27) and Stony Brook (Mar. 27) on the road.
The 2021 Big East Championship tournament will be held Aril 22-26 at its home for the past four years, the Cayce Tennis Center in Cayce, S.C.
