No. 3 UConn Faces No. 17 DePaul Sunday on FOX

STORRS, Conn. – The third-ranked UConn women's basketball team (10-1, 8-0 BIG EAST) will compete in the first-ever women's basketball game on FOX when the Huskies travel to No. 17 DePaul (9-3, 6-1) Sunday. The game will tip at 1 p.m. ET and will also be available on 97-9 ESPN.
The Huskies suffered their first loss of the season Thursday, falling 90-87 to No. 19 Arkansas. Freshman Paige Bueckers set a new career high with 27 points while junior Evina Westbrook
scored 19, including a career-high five three pointers. UConn led for the first two quarters, but a 31-19 Arkansas run in the third quarter put the Huskies down 10 going into the fourth.
DePaul is coming off an 80-66 win over Butler on Jan. 21. The Blue Demons are on a four-game
win streak. Sonya Morris leads the Blue Demons with 18.3 points per game. Five players are averaging double digits. Head coach Doug Bruno is in his 35th season at DePaul.
UConn is 18-1 all-time vs. DePaul, including 18-0 under head coach Geno Auriemma. UConn and DePaul faced each other on Dec. 29, 2020 in Gampel Pavilion. Freshman Paige Bueckers led five Huskies scoring in double digits with 18 as UConn won 75-52.
