UConn to Welcome 200 Frontline Healthcare and Public Safety Workers to Gampel on Saturday

STORRS, Conn. – As a small token of appreciation and gratitude, UConn athletics will accommodate a maximum of 200 frontline healthcare and public safety workers from the Storrs campus and UConn Health at Saturday afternoon's men's basketball game against Georgetown. Tip-off is set for 12 p.m. at Gampel Pavilion and the contest will be televised nationally on CBS.
All individuals have been vaccinated against COVID-19, will be seated in the upper level of Gampel and must adhere to mask-wearing and social distancing while in the arena.
UConn Health and campus frontline workers, made up of employees from Student Health and Wellness and the UConn Fire and Police Departments, entered into a lottery earlier this week in order to gain access to the 200 available tickets.
