CT DPH Will Continue Offering Vaccine and Booster Shots at XL Center During UConn Athletics Events

STORRS, Conn. - The Connecticut Department of Public Health will continue facilitating free COVID-19 vaccine clinics at all UConn men's and women's basketball and men's hockey games played at the XL Center this season. DPH will offer the Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and will also have each vaccine's corresponding booster shot available.
During men's and women's basketball games at XL Center, the vaccine clinic will be set up from 60-minutes prior to tip until the end of halftime in the main atrium. If fans decide to take advantage of the offering, they should receive the vaccine prior to scanning their mobile ticket and entering the XL Center concourse.Â
The vaccine clinic set up will be the same during men's hockey games at the XL Center and will run through the end of the first period.Â
