MSOC ready for out of conference matchup

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's soccer team (3-6-1) are set for a midweek out of conference matchup Wednesday with Maine at Fort Kent (10-1) at Morrone Stadium.
The Huskies are coming into Wednesday's match having won one of their two games last week in conference play. Mateo Leveque leads the Huskies with nine points on the season (two goals, five assists). He was named to the weekly BIG EAST Honor Roll this past week. Frantz Pierrot has also been a steady presence for the Huskies at the front of the team. He ranks in the top five of the BIG EAST in shots and shots per game.
Maine at Fort Kent are coming into the matchup having won ten of their last eleven games. This is the first ever meeting between the two programs.
