UConn WBB to Compete in 2022 Phil Knight Legacy Tournament

PORTLAND – The UConn women's basketball team will compete in the 2022 Phil Knight Legacy College Basketball Tournament, which will take place over Thanksgiving Weekend in Portland to honor Phil Knight and his contribution to college basketball.
Hosted by Rip City Management, LLC, the Phil Knight Legacy will feature UConn, Duke, Iowa and Oregon State in the women's field.
Each team will play one game per day in the bracket-style format on Nov. 25 and 27. Games will be at the Chiles Center at University of Portland, Rose Quarter's Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Ticket information, schedule and brackets will be announced at a later date.
The Phil Knight Legacy men's field includes Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, Oregon State, Portland State, Purdue, West Virginia and Xavier.
UConn men's basketball will also compete in Portland in the 2022 Phil Knight Invitational Nov. 24, 25 and 27.
UConn is 12-3 all-time vs. Duke. The last meeting was a 72-59 win for the Huskies in the 2018 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
The Huskies are 5-3 all-time vs. Iowa. The teams last faced off in the 2021 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, a 92-72 win for UConn.
UConn is 2-0 all-time vs. Oregon State. The teams last played in the 2016 NCAA Final Four, an 80-51 win for the Huskies.
