No. 7 Huskies to Host Providence for Senior Day

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn women's basketball team (21-5, 15-1 BIG EAST) plays its final game of the regular season vs. Providence (11-17, 6-13) Sunday at 2 p.m. The game will air on CBS Sports Network and the UConn Sports Network.
The Huskies will honor Christyn Williams, Olivia Nelson-Ododa, Evina Westbrook and Dorka Juhász before the game for Senior Day. The senior class has compiled a 113-13 overall record and a 65-1 mark in conference games in four seasons. The seniors have helped the Huskies to seven conference championships and two Final Four appearances.
Sunday's game vs. Providence is officially a SELL OUT!
UConn will stream the Senior Day Ceremony at Facebook.com/UConnWBB. The ceremony will begin at approximately 1:35 p.m.
The Huskies put together one of their most complete games of the season in a 93-38 win over St. John's on Friday. The Huskies set season highs in field-goal percentage (63.5), scoring margin (+55) and assists (27). Freshman Azzi Fudd led UConn with 19 points while Aaliyah Edwards (16), Christyn Williams (13), Olivia Nelson-Ododa (13) and Caroline Ducharme (13) also scored in double digits. Redshirt senior Evina Westbrook had a season-high 10 assists while adding seven rebounds.
Sophomore Paige Bueckers returned to action for the first time since Dec. 5 vs. St. John's. In her first game back, Bueckers scored eight points on 4-for-5 shooting in 12 minutes.
The Huskies won the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship and will be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament next weekend at Mohegan Sun.
