Reese Guevarra named BIG EAST player of the week, Lexi Hastings receives Honor Roll

Storrs, CT – Reese Guevarra was named BIG EAST Softball Player of the Week. Lexi Hastings also received weekly Honor Roll for her performance against St. John's.
Senior Reese Guevarra was red hot at the plate this past weekend at St. John's. She led the conference in runs batted in for the week in just two games played. She held a .625 batting average, with five hits, and three runs scored. She will look to continue her dominance at the plate this week.
Freshman Lexi Hastings was also a recipient of BIG EAST honors this week. Hastings was second on the team behind Guevarra in batting average with a .500 average. She wreaked havoc on the basepaths when getting on, stealing three bags, and scoring four runs. She had two runs batted in on the weekend.
The Huskies will be back in action tomorrow to close out the series against St. John's.
