CHERRY HILL, N.J. - The UConn women's rowing season concluded its 2022 spring campaign as it competed at the CAA Championship Sunday morning on Cooper River.
The Huskies finished in seventh place with nine points. Northeastern won its eighth straight CAA title after winning the V8 and V4 races.
Sophomore coxswain Catherine Esparza represented UConn on the All-CAA Team.
"It was a great weekend for the Huskies competing at the Dad Vail Regatta and the CAA conference championships this weekend," commented head coach Jennifer Sanford. "All of our boats competed in exciting, competitive racing. Being a part of it all made us hungry for solid results next year. We are a young team, losing only two seniors, and we will be gaining some solid recruits this fall. I'm excited for the future of UConn rowing!"
