MSOC Announces 2022 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn men's soccer team has announced its 2022 schedule, which features 17 games.
Under new head coach Chris Gbandi and an incoming class of 13 athletes, UConn will look to build off their 7-7-2 record from the 2021-22 season.
The Huskies have three exhibitions scheduled before the official start of the season: Sunday, Aug. 14 vs. FDU, Wednesday, Aug. 17 vs. LIU, and Saturday, Aug. 20 at Northeastern.
UConn will play seven non-conference games five of which will occur before BIG EAST action, which includes 11 games.
The Huskies will kick off the regular season at home in Morrone Stadium vs. Charlotte on Thursday, Aug. 25 and vs. Holy Cross on Sunday, Aug. 28.
The Huskies will remain at home to kick off September as they will face NJIT Friday Sept. 2.
UConn will face former BIG EAST rival Syracuse in a Monday night showdown Sept. 5 at 7:00pm.
UConn will wrap up non-conference play with their first road test as they travel to URI Saturday, Sept. 10.
The Huskies begin BIG EAST play at Creighton on Saturday, Sept. 17. Following the conference opener, UConn will travel to Dartmouth for a non-conference bout (Tuesday, Sept.20).
UConn will also travel to Xavier (Saturday, Oct. 1), Marquette (Saturday, Oct. 15), Villanova (Wednesday, Oct. 19), and St. John's (Saturday, Oct. 29).
UConn will host conference opponents Butler (Saturday, Sept. 24), Providence (Wednesday, Oct. 5), Seton Hall (Saturday, Oct. 8), DePaul (Saturday, Oct. 22) and Georgetown (Wednesday, Nov. 2).
The Huskies will also have one final non-conference game on Wednesday, Oct. 26 vs. Stone Hill.
BIG EAST Championship tournament will begin Thursday, Nov. 10 with the semifinals, and the Big East finals will occur Sunday, Nov. 13.
