Bouyer-Randle and Wortham Accept Invites to Play in 2022 Hula Bowl

STORRS, Conn. - The UConn football program will send a pair of student-athletes to the 77th Hula Bowl College All-Star Football Game as grad student linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle (Battle Creek, MI) and senior cornerback Tre Wortham (Stockton, CA) have accepted invitations to this year's game.
The 77th Hula Bowl College All-Star Football Game is scheduled for Saturday, January 14 and will be held at the UCF FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando, Florida. Kick-off is scheduled for 12 pm and the game will air on CBS Sports Network.
Bouyer-Randle transferred to the Huskies this season for his final season of eligibility after stints at Texas Tech and Michigan State. Bouyer-Randle played in all 13 games with 10 starts. He was second on the team in tackles, posting a career-high 98 stops in 2022. In addition, he had 8.0 tackles for a loss, two interceptions, a forced fumble and a sack on the season.
Wortham started all 13 games for the Huskies this fall and collected 75 tackles. He led the team and was xx in the nation with four interceptions. He had 10 passes defended as well and also had a forced fumble. At the end of the season, he was named to the New England Football Writers 2022 University Division All-New England team.
