Softball Releases 2024 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball team released its 52 game schedule on Monday afternoon. The Huskies have 15 scheduled home games at Burrill Family Field this season.
Information on season tickets and single-game tickets will become available at a later date.
UConn is coming off another impressive season under head coach Laura Valentino. The Huskies repeated as BIG EAST regular season champions, posting a 19-5 conference record and 34-15 overall record. UConn has turned in back to back 30 win seasons for the first time since the 2000 (37-17) and 2001 (36-23) seasons. The Huskies return most of their lineup from a season ago only losing two players from last year's roster.
UConn will kick off the season on February 8 in the Black & Gold Classic hosted by Central Florida. The Huskies will play a total of six games playing each team twice in the weekend. UConn opens the weekend against the host school UCF and will play Georgia State and Seattle through the rest of the weekend. The non-conference schedule also features Ole Miss (Feb. 23), Clemson (Feb. 24), and NC State (TBA).
UConn will close out their pre-season tournament schedule at the University of Hawaii from March 7-10. The Huskies will play Cleveland State, New Mexico, and the host school Hawaii for a total of six games in Honolulu, HI.
UConn's home opener is scheduled for March 15 at Burrill Family Field. The Huskies will open their BIG EAST slate that weekend against DePaul. UConn will host four BIG EAST weekend series starting with DePaul (March 15-17), Providence (March 28-30), Creighton (April 12-14), and Villanova (April 26-28).
The Huskies conference road series consists of Butler, St. John's, Seton Hall, and Georgetown.
UConn's midweek schedule contains five teams, Central Connecticut State, Yale, Boston University, Boston College, and UMASS. All home non-conference games will be streamed on UConn+.
