Huskies prepare for Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, PA - The University of Connecticut Swimming and Diving Team is set to compete in the Bucknell Invitational at Kinney Natatorium on the campus of Bucknell University. Races start Friday with trials beginning at 10 am. and span the weekend, concluding Sunday with finals beginning at 5 pm.Â
The Huskies enter the weekend 3-2 overall, coming off a strong road win at URI (162-133). The Bison, having competed in six meets this season, enter 3-3 after a road loss at Loyola. Both teams will have had nearly three weeks of preparation, with each last competing on Nov. 11. This weekend marks the fifth meeting between the two, with Bucknell taking last year's victory.Â
UConn will race once more after the weekend, facing Vermont in Burlington on Dec. 9.Â
