Arnold Named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week

STORRS, Conn. – For the third time this season, UConn guard KK Arnold was selected as the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Arnold helped the Huskies to an 86-62 win over No. 18 Louisville on Saturday. She scored 11 points and added five assists and three steals.
Arnold has made four starts in 10 games this season. The Germantown, Wis., native is averaging 7.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.
A UConn freshman has earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors in five of six weeks this season.
No. 17 UConn (7-3) opens BIG EAST play Monday vs. Butler (7-3) at the XL Center. The game will tip at 7 p.m. on SNY.
