PALM CITY, Fla. – UConn graduate student Jared Nelson recorded the 21^st Top 20 finish of his college career as he led the UConn men's golf team at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate Tournament, which concluded Tuesday.

Nelson (Rutland, Vt.) fired a 1-under par 71, his best round of the tournament, in Tuesday's final round to finish with an aggregate 3-over 75-73-71=219, to finish in a tie for 15^th in the huge 119-player field. The final round was Nelson's 48^th round of par or better in his college career.

UConn tied for 11^th place in the 19-team field with a team aggregate of 293-305-297=895. Drexel (863) won the team championship.

UConn junior Tommy Dallahan (Simsbury, Conn.) tied for 45^th place with a 9-over, 72-77-76=225, which included his 24^th career round of par-or-better.

Also for UConn, sophomore Eric Boulger (Walpole, Mass.) shot a 10-over, 78-75-73=226, to finish in a tie for 50^th place. Junior Jimmy Paradise (Tampa, Fla.) tied for 74^th place with a 14-over, 72-81-77=230, including his 19^th par-or-better round. Freshman Colin Spencer (Mashpee, Mass.) finished in a tie for 79^th with a 16-over, 74-80-78=232.

Playing as individuals, UConn freshman Christopher Sacher (Schoeffengrund, Hesse, Germany) finished in a tie for 86th with an 18-over, 73-81-80=234, sophomore Trevor Lopez (Winchester, Mass.) tied for 97^th place with a 21-over, 78-80-79=237, and freshman Connor Goode (Glastonbury, Conn.) also tied for 97^th with his 21-over, 81-78-78=237.

The Huskies will continue the spring portion of their schedule on March 4-5, competing in the Desert Mountain Invitational at the Desert Mountain Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
