UConn MBB To Be Honored At The White House

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The UConn men's basketball team will be honored for winning the 2023 NCAA National Championship by President Joe Biden and a ceremony at the White House on Friday, May 26, at a time to be announced.

The UConn travel party will make a one-day trip to Washington, flying on Friday morning and returning home following the ceremony.

It will be the fifth trip to the White House for the UConn men's program. The 1999 Huskies were honored by President Bill Clinton, the 2004 Huskies received an invitation from President George W. Bush, and President Barack Obama honored UConn in both 2011 and 2014.
