UConn to Face UCLA, Kansas in Cayman Islands Classic

GEORGETOWN, GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS – The UConn women's basketball team will face UCLA and Kansas in the inaugural Cayman Islands Classic women's college basketball tournament this November.
UConn will face the Bruins on Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Huskies will take on the Jayhawks on Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The games will be played at John Gray Gymnasium and will stream on FloHoops.
The tournament also includes LSU, Virginia Tech, Niagara, Tulane and Virginia.
UConn's 2023-24 non-conference schedule is officially complete. Nine of UConn's opponents finished the 2022-23 season ranked in the top 30 of the NCAA Net Rankings: No. 1 South Carolina, No. 8 Notre Dame, No. 11 Maryland, No. 12 Texas, No. 17 Louisville, No. 18 NC State, No. 22 UCLA, No. 24 North Carolina and No. 30 Kansas.
Seven of those programs competed in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. Ball State and Kansas competed in the 2023 Postseason WNIT, with Kansas winning the WNIT Championship.
