GameDay is returning to Storrs for the fourth time in its history and the first time since 2014. Gampel Pavilion hosted the first ever version of the college basketball edition of the show back in 2005. Show time is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on ESPN ahead of Saturday night's BIG EAST contest with Villanova. Tip-off for the game is set for 8 p.m. on FOX.
Lines may begin forming at the North Entrance for students at 5 a.m. Doors for students will open at 8:30 a.m., while the South and East gates will open at 8:45 a.m. for season ticket holders and donors who have claimed tickets. There will be a sign making station outside the North Entrance.
The first 250 students in line for GameDay with a GameDay ticket and Villanova game ticket will get priority access into the game via North entrance at 6 p.m. Those students must be in line by 6 p.m. to get that priority access. Additional promotions at GameDay include: 100 students who attend GameDay will receive a student ticket to the game against Seton Hall on Sunday, March 3. One student will be chosen for the State Farm Half Court Shot Contest for a chance to win $19,000.
Once inside, there will be concessions available but alcohol will not be sold.
We encourage fans attending to park in the North Garage. Fans can pay upon arrival with the Flowbird or PyByPhone parking apps on your smartphone or by using the kiosks in the facility.
