Softball Adds to the Class of 2029

STORRS, Conn. โย UConn Softball Head Coach Laura Valentino has announced the addition of Alexis Juhl to the class of 2029 on Monday morning. Juhl, originally apart of the Huskies class of 2030, re-classified to the class of 2029, arriving in Storrs a year early.
Alexis Juhl (Waxhaw, N.C.)
Juhlย currently attends Cuthbertson High School in Waxhaw, North Carolina where she has lettered three seasons under head coach Ray Martinez. In thoseย three seasons, she has been anย All-Conference selectionย twice, and an All-County first teamer, ranking as the 2ndย catcher in North Carolina and 13thย in the southeast by Extra Innings Softball. Juhl recently received the Rising Star of the Year award in the greater Charlotte area. Last season she slashed .444/.526/.873, driving in 26 runs, and recording 14 extra base hits.ย
