Three Huskies Tabbed All-New England

STORRS, CT – UConn quarterback Joe Fagnano (Williamsport, PA), wide receiver Skyler Bell (Bronx, NY) and linebacker Bryun Parham (Long Beach, CA) have all been named to the 2025 All-New England team announced on Sunday by the New England Football Writers Association.
Thirty-five conference and independent all-stars representing 15 Division I football playing schools in New England FBS and FCS have been selected to the 2025 New England Football Writers Association All-New England team. The team honors the best Division I players by position in New England from the 2025 season. The team will be honored at the New England Football Writers Captains and Awards Banquet on Thursday, December11, at the Sheraton Framingham (Mass.) Hotel and Conference Center.
Fagnano started all 12 games for the Huskies this season and finished the year throwing for 3,448 yards and 28 touchdowns in leading UConn to a 9-3 record and the sixth-ranked passing offense in the country. Fagnano completed 285-of-413 passes and threw just one interception all season. He averaged 287.3 yards per game. After the regular season, he ranks sixth in the NCAA in passing yards, yards per game and touchdowns, eighth in completions per game (23.8), 12th in passing efficiency (161.0) and points responsible for (188) and 15th in completion percentage (.690).
Bell put together a season for the UConn record books in 2025. He caught 101 passes for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns, setting new school records for receptions and TDs. He averaged 12.7 yards per catch and 106.5 yards per game. He ranks second in the NCAA in receptions, yards and TDs and led the country with seven 100-yard games this season.
Parham was the leading tackler on the UConn defensive unit this season. Parham finished with 116 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and an interception. He ranks eighth in the NCAA in sacks and 13th in total tackles.
