2024 (R-Senior Season): Played in 10 games during the 2024 season...Completed a team-leading 120 of 206 pass attempts for 1,631 yards...Threw a team-high 20 touchdown passes with a long of 70 yards...Rushed 30 times for 60 yards and one touchdown...Recorded a season-high five passing touchdowns and 328 yards against Merrimack (Sept 7)...Threw for 272 yards and one touchdown on 24 completions against Temple (Oct. 5)...Registered three passing touchdowns and 181 yards versus Massachusetts (Nov. 30)...Connected on 27 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns at Syracuse (Nov. 23)...Had a two-touchdown, 151-yard performance against North Carolina in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl (Dec. 28)...In the preseason, was named to 2024 College Sports Communicators Comeback Player of the Year Award Watch List
2023 (R-Junior Season): Transfers to UConn from the University of Maine...Will have two years of eligibility...Won the starting quarterback job out of summer camp...Started the first two games of the season before an injury cost him the season...Completed 18-of-35 passes for 173 yards and a interception before being suffering an injury at Georgia State...In the season opener against NC State (Aug 31), completed 14-of-26 for 113 yards and an interception and ran it seven times for 18 yards...At Georgia State (Sep 9) was 4-of-9 for 60 yards while running nine times for 14 yards before suffering a shoulder injury before halftime.
At Maine: Played three seasons under UConn offensive coordinate Nick Charlton…In 2022 he posted career high passing totals, completing 208 passes for 2,231 yards and 15 touchdowns against just six interceptions…He averaged 202.8 yards per game…Fagnano also had career-best rushing numbers last fall, running for 296 yards on 93 carries for three scores…Had 794 yards passing and six touchdowns in four games in the fall of 2021…In the spring 2021 COVID-19 season, he earned All-CAA Second Team honors after finishing the short season with 795 yards and eight touchdowns while running for two more…Won the team’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award in 2019 after passing for 1,835 yards and 17 touchdowns in eight games.
