No. 1 UConn to Host Seton Hall Saturday

STORRS, Conn. – The top-ranked UConn women's basketball team (14-0, 5-0 BIG EAST) returns to PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford to host Seton Hall (10-4, 4-1) Saturday at noon. The game will air on FS1 and the UConn Sports Network from Learfield (FOX Sports 97.9).
Saturday is Junior Husky Club Day. Junior Husky Club members can claim a free ticket to the game, and a variety of Junior Husky Club items will be available for members at the marketing table (first come, first served, while supplies last).

Graduate student Azzi Fudd and sophomore Sarah Strong led UConn to a 90-53 win at Providence on New Year's Eve. Fudd had 18 points, six assists and four steals while Strong notched 17 points, seven rebounds and three steals. UConn scored 41 points off turnovers vs. the Friars.
Sophomore Allie Ziebell made her first career start at Providence.
The Huskies lead the nation with 24.3 assists per game. UConn has dished out 20+ assists in its last 13 games. Junior KK Arnold ranks second nationally with a 4.69 assist-turnover ratio.
Including BIG EAST Tournament games, the Huskies have won 52 straight league games.
UConn is 61-10 all-time vs. Seton Hall. The Huskies have won the last 41 meetings between the teams. UConn will travel to South Orange, N.J., on Jan. 25.
Seton Hall beat Georgetown, 81-36, on Wednesday. This season, Savannah Catalon leads the Pirates with 14.3 points per game as four players are averaging double-digit points. Head coach Anthony Bozzella is in his 13th season at Seton Hall.
