CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- UConn track and field broke two school records and set five new program all-time top 10 marks in a successful weekend at the Harvard Invitational and Terrier Classic.
"It was a great weekend for the Huskies," said Head Coach Beth Alford-Sullivan. "Our squad trained through the weekend and used it as an opportunity to work on things to get better. We had different facets of the program doing different things. It turned out really well for all of us. Our women's distance team had several good performances cracking into the top 10. The men's side set new school records, with Medwin [Odammten] and the 4x400 team breaking the school record. We had many great personal bests and great learning experiences across the board. Now we will re-group and take a squad to Penn State next weekend."
