Muhammad Named BIG EAST Men's Field Athlete of the Week

STORRS, Conn.- UConn sophomore jumper Enaji Muhammad has been named BIG EAST Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

At the Crimson Open on Saturday in Cambridge, Muhammad won the high jump competition with a season-best performance of 2.14m. The sophomore has secured four top three finishes in the 2025-26 indoor season, highlighted by a win at the Harvard Classic on December 6th at 2.08m.

Muhammad will look to secure another medal next weekend, as the Huskies gear up for the BIG EAST Championships that will take place in Chicago on February 27^th-28^th.
