Huskies Notch Four More Top 10 Marks at Penn State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.- UConn track and field competed in the Sykes & Sabock Challenge hosted by Penn State University on Saturday. The Huskies posted four new program top-10 marks.
Women's Track:
- Ruby Tillson, Brooklyn Taylor and Maresa Hense qualified for the 60m hurdle finals, with Taylor winning the competition at a personal best of 8.40, the fifth-best mark in program history.
- Emerson Flaker finished second in the 400m with a new personal-best time of 54.77, the eighth-best mark in program history
- Alyssa Elliott won the 600m competition, with a time of 1:34.18. The performance is the sixth-fastest in program history
- Maresa Hense finished third in the 200m at 24.67. Mia Dansby claimed seventh at 25.00
Men's Track:
- Mohamed Wahdan and Wyatt Gravier qualified for the 60m hurdle finals. Wahdan finished second in the finals at 7.96
- Del Lindsay finished fifth in the 400m at 47.94
- Gabe Cuffey finished third in the 600m at 1:19.95, the seventh-best mark in program history
- TJ Jaravaza won the 200m at 21.63. Peyton Butler took sixth at 21.85
Women's Field:
- Â Gabriela DeFelice finished eighth in the weight throw at 15.16m
- Rachel Mason placed sixth in the pole vault at 3.75m. Piper Linn took eighth at 3.45m.
- Alyssa Elliot took second in the long jump at 5.72m. Jaidah Garrett finished third with a best jump of 5.67m. Jalynn Smith placed sixth at 5.64m
- Sinclaire Fryer finished fifth in the shot put with a throw of 13.81m. Brook-lynn Roberts placed sixth at 13.65. Ella Karp took ninth at 12.59m
- Kaylee Meyer finished fourth in the high jump at 1.72m.
Men's Field:
- Josh Mooney finished 11th in the long jump at 6.77m
- Mooney placed sixth in the pole vault at 4.60m. Wyatt Martin finished eighth at 4.45m.
- Marshall Potter placed seventh in the weight throw at 18.87m Alex Krause took 12th at 17.24m.
- Emi Erekosima won the triple jump competition at 15.23m.
- Potter took fifth in the shot put at 16.80m.
- Enaji Muhammad took second in the high jump, clearing 2.06m. Dar Jankovic finished fifth at 1.96m.
Up Next: The Huskies enter a busy weekend, competing in Boston, Cambridge, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Clemson.
