Huskies Set Four New Top 10 Marks in Raleigh

RALEIGH- UConn track and field set four new program 10 marks this weekend, competing at the 2026 Raleigh Relays.
Men's Track:
- Christian Menounos and Liam Naughton competed in the 1500m, with respectives times of 3:53.20 and 3:56.38.
- Daniel Hilmer ran a time of 9:28.96 in the 3000m steeplechase.
Women's Track:
- Brooke Strauss and Calista Mayer competed in the 1500m. Strauss finished overall with a time of 4:20.05, the sixth-best mark in program history. Mayer ran a personal-best time of 4:30.31.
- Sarah Trainor set a new personal-best in the steeplechase with a time of 10:04.84, the second-best mark in program history and seventh overall. Loghan Hughes finished in 10:59.95.
- Sascha Letica finished the 5000m in 16:07.23, the fifth-best mark in program history.
- Chloe Trudel ran the 10,000m in 34:04.15, a new personal-best that pits her fourth in program history.
Up Next: The Huskies return to action at home next weekend, hosting the UConn Dog Fight meet on Saturday, April 4th.
