5/6/2026 8:11:00 PM | Men's Track and Field, Women's Track and Field
STORRS, CT – UConn's George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex is set to once again serve as the host to the BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships presented by Jeep. The event returns to Storrs and will be held May 14 through May 16.
UConn is the host site for the second-straight season and the seventh time in league history.
The Huskies are looking to complete a dual Indoor / Outdoor BIG EAST Championship sweep for the fifth-straight season and send this year's senior class off undefeated over their UConn careers.
The UConn men are out to make history, looking for their sixth-straight outdoor championship which would set the BIG EAST record for consecutive titles. The Huskies have won all five BIG EAST outdoor titles since returning to the conference in 2020-21.
They are in search of the program's 10th BIG EAST Outdoor title all-time (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2013, 2011, 2002, 1982)
On the women's side, the Huskies are looking for their fifth-straight outdoor championship as well as a seventh BIG EAST Outdoor title all-time (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 1995, 1986). Should the Huskies win, they would match the BIG EAST record of five-straight set by Louisville (2008-2012).
Head Coach Beth Alford-Sullivan has been at the helm for the past three outdoor championship runs for the Huskies and has guided them to four-straight indoor titles as well. During her time at Penn State, she led the Nittany Lions to nine BIG TEN team titles
This year's championship gets underway at 12 noon on Thursday, May 14 and will wrap up at approximately 3 pm on Saturday, May 16 with the awards ceremony.
