Through SAAC, UConn student-athletes will get involved in many community initiatives through various programs which are all intended to give back those in need. In year 2015-2016 Drives will be conducted at various games to collect books, winter clothing as well as food for those in need. In addition, community cleanup days, hospital visits, as well as volunteering opportunities at soup kitchens will be made available for all UConn student-athletes.
