Justin Cummings-Morrow begins his third season as a member of the UConn football staff in 2025. Cummings-Morrow as was elevated to his current role as Executive Director of Football and Recruiting prior to the 2024 season.
Cummings-Morrow joined the UConn football program in the spring of 2023 as the team's director of football operations. He coordinates the annual football budge with the athletic administration as well as supervising all team travel during the season. He also serves as the on-campus housing liaison and as the liaison with human resources on all hiring search committees for the team. He works with the athletic communication office to coordinate all media requests for the coaching staff and players.
Prior to coming to Storrs, Cummings-Morrow served as the assistant athletic director at Archbishop Moeller High School. He assisted in all services related to athletic team travel, managed student-athlete compliance, game day operations as well as budgets for the athletic department.
He returned to college football and spent a season with the Youngstown State Unviersity football program as the director of football operations in 2020-21. He was involved in all the day-to-day operations of the program as well as leading the coordination of team travel, camps and recruiting.
He also worked for the Iowa State football program from August of 2016 through Febraury of 2020 as the team's assistant director of football operations and player development / player personnel. He coordinated and lead the community outreach program for student-athletes while also assisting with recruiting initiatives and travel and meal planning. He developed and implemented the Student-Athlete S.T.A.T.E. Experience.
Cummings-Morrow earned his bachelor's degree in sports administration from the University of Toledo in 2015 and a master's degree in family and consumer science from Iowa State in 2020.
