Before College: Tough, hard-working player who joins the UConn program as a first-year walk-on, will add depth to the backcourt and help the Huskies’ perimeter players improve in practice every day... One of just two Connecticut residents on the 2020-21 UConn roster... Solid outside shooter and tough defender... Extremely familiar with UConn Coach Hurley’s coaching style and player standards... Comes to UConn after playing two years at East Catholic High School (Manchester, Conn.), one of the most successful programs in the state, under Coach Luke Reilly... Played limited minutes as a junior in 2018-19, as East Catholic went 27-1 and captured the Division I State Championship... Was a significant contributor as a senior in 2019-20, helping East Catholic post a 23-1 mark and win the CCC (conference) tournament, before the season was suspended by the global pandemic before the state tournament could begin... Played his first two high school seasons at Bishop Hendricken (Warwick , R.I.), before his family moved to Connecticut.
