While At UConn: Has played in 24 career games, averaging 1.0 points to along with 1.2 rebounds per contest… Made his UConn debut in Connecticut’s season opener against Bryant (11/14) last year and scored his first points in UConn’s victory over Coppin State (12/14)… Played valuable minutes in Connecticut’s run to the 2015 American Athletic Championship.
As a Freshman in 2014-15: Appeared in 24 games, averaging 1.0 points and 1.2 rebounds on the year... Registered his first career points in Connecticut’s win over Coppin State (12/14), finishing the contest with five points and two rebounds... Had career highs in field goals made (2) and rebounds (3) against USF (1/6)... Recorded his first career block against Cincinnati (1/10), finishing the game with a team-best two blocks… Played in all four of UConn’s games in the 2015 American Athletic Tournament.
Before UConn: Attended Buford (Ga.) High School as a senior and played under Coach Allen Whitehart... Averaged 20.2 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.1 blocks to lead Buford to a 27-6 record and a berth in the Georgia 3A state championship game. Had 37 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks in the state semifinal game... Was MVP of the Georgia North-South All-Star Game... Named the Georgia Sportswriters 3A Player of the Year, First Team All-State and First Team All-Region... As a junior, played at Gadsden City (Ala.) High School, and averaged 19.6 points, 9.2 rebounds.
