2019-20 (Junior Season): Named an alternate captain for the 2019-20 season…Played in 33 games…Ended the season with three points on three assists…One of the top defensemen in Hockey East blocking shots, with 51 on the year, ranking second…He averaged 1.55 blocks per game…Had an assist and was a career-best +3 in a 6-1 win at Boston University (Feb. 21)…Blocked five shots in a 2-1 win at No. 12 UMass Lowell (Nov. 16) and in a 2-1 loss at No. 12 Providence (Jan. 11)…Had an assist at RPI (Oct. 18) and against Yale (Jan. 26) at the Connecticut Ice tournament.
2018-19 (Sophomore Season): Played in all 34 games during his sophomore campaign…Closed out the season with four points on four assists…Blocked a total of 38 shots, second most blocked shots on the squad…Averaged 1.12 blocks per game…Had an assist in the 3-1 win over Brown (Nov. 13) on the game’s lone shorthanded goal…Picked up an assist to help open up the scoring in UConn’s 3-1 victory over the then No. 15 Yale Bulldogs.
2017-18 (Freshman Season): Played in 29 games during his rookie season… Had 16 starts… Missed seven games due to an injury… Had eight points on the season (4g/4a)… Blocked 58 shots, second among the Huskies and 10th in Hockey East rankings… Averaged 2 blocks per game… Recorded his first collegiate point with the only goal in the 1-3 loss to Sacred Heart (Oct. 14)… Scored two of the three goals in the in the 3-2 victory against New Hampshire (Jan. 27)… Had an assist in the 5-4 overtime victory against No. 20 Boston University (Feb. 16)… Named Pro Ambitions Hockey East rookie of the week on Jan. 29 after the weekend sweep of New Hampshire.
Before UConn: Spent 2016-17 helping the Chicago Steel capture the USHL Clark Cup Championship...He played in 52 games for the Steel and ended the season with nine points on two goals and seven assists...He finished with a +14 rating on the year...In 2015-16, he played for Avon Old Farms collecting 29 points on three goals and 26 assists before joining the Neponset Valley River Rats of the MHSL and the Steel to close out the year...Attended Ridgefield High School where he helped lead his team to a FCIAC Championship...He was named the Freshman of the Year and was an All-State selection...An honor roll student-athlete.
